More Info:
Everyone I Love Is Sleeping And I Love Them So So Much is an intensely tender, tape saturated ambient and electroacoustic work from Lebanese composer, puppeteer, and sound artist Yara Asmar. Known for coaxing deeply nostalgic, fragile beauty out of unconventional instruments such as modified toy accordions, music boxes, metallic chimes, and tape loops, Asmar constructs an intimate sonic sanctuary centered on care, quiet domesticity, and nocturnal watchfulness. The music sounds like half remembered childhood dreams drifting through an empty house at 3 AM: mechanical, winding movements flutter and click in the foreground while warm, decaying reel to reel tape hums, saturated drones, and gentle reed swells cushion every note.
