Sourced from a pristine soundboard / in-ear monitor feed, the pressing strips away room blur in favor of clinical, punchy separation that highlights the quartet’s terrifying instrumental precision. Opening with the hypnotic, polyrhythmic swell of "Fear Inoculum" before slamming directly into the frantic, odd-meter fury of "The Grudge," the record captures the band operating at late-career peak power. Justin Chancellor’s growling, chorus-drenched Wal bass and Danny Carey’s massive, mandala-pad-enhanced tribal drumming provide a tectonic low-end anchor, while Adam Jones’ thick, silverburst Les Paul riffs and feedback washes carve out cavernous sonic geometry.
