Coastal is the self-titled debut studio album by the Provo, Utah-based slowcore/post-rock band Coastal, released in March 2001. The album is a definitive example of early-2000s American slowcore, dream pop, and ambient post-rock. It is characterized by hypnotic, glacial tempos, spacious reverb-drenched guitar arrangements, understated drumming, and melancholic, hushed vocal harmonies between Jason and Luisa Gough.
