Pretty Hate Machine Sessions is a vinyl pressing of Trent Reznor’s legendary November 1988 demo sessions recorded at Cleveland’s Right Track Studios (The Purest Feeling), where he worked night shifts as an assistant engineer and janitor. What makes this material fascinating is how remarkably different it sounds compared to the dark, razor-sharp industrial-rock masterwork Pretty Hate Machine would become.
