Released in September 2000, Fuel’s sophomore studio album, Something Like Human, solidified the band's status as a powerhouse of the post-grunge era. Driven by primary songwriter Carl Bell's heavy guitar riffs and frontman Brett Scallions’ raw, impassioned vocals, the record balances aggressive, hard-rock grooves with radio-ready, melodic power ballads. It spawned Fuel's biggest hit, "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)," which dominated rock charts for weeks, alongside popular singles like "Innocent," "Bad Day," and "Last Time".
