Despite the church-camp name, Family Worship Center’s Sunday A.M. isn’t devotional music, SURPRISE! It’s an exuberant, secular rock ’n’ roll tent revival dripping in vintage 1970s swagger. Led by keyboardist and frontman Andy Krissberg and tracked at Nashville's Omni Sound Studios with Grammy-winning producer Eddie Spear, the record channels the soulful, communal roots-rock energy of Delaney & Bonnie, Leon Russell, Exile on Main St. era Rolling Stones, and The Band.
