The Dethalbum is the debut studio album by the virtual melodic death metal band Dethklok, co-created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha from the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse. Released in 2007, the album expanded short 30-to-60-second song clips featured throughout the show’s first season into full-length, meticulously produced tracks. It debuted at #21 on the Billboard 200, making it one of the highest-charting death metal releases in Billboard history at the time.
