Interrupt is the fourth studio album by the Philadelphia-based indie rock band Bleeding Rainbow. Released in 2014, the record serves as a sharper, punchier, and more direct follow-up to their previous heavier shoegaze output, trading some of their earlier sprawling drone for a high-energy, ferocious brand of 90s-inflected alternative rock, power-pop, and punk. Interrupt sounds like a collision between the soaring fuzz-laden guitar walls of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth, mixed with the catchy, driving momentum of vintage power-pop and garage-punk.
